Since we started this company and this website, on our blog we have talk about how we started, the different products we have designed, and the items we sell. But do you realize we also offer consulting services?
I have had the privilege of working for some great and diverse companies. This has provided me with a unique point of view and experiences.
In upcoming weeks, Zoe’ and I will be discussing different aspects of the various types of consulting we offer. But in this week’s blog I thought it would be great to give you a little tease about my background and how I can help others in the consumer products industry.
But allow me to take a step back and explain how I my love for product design started.
Growing up I would tinker and MacGyver many items around the house. Examples include engineering an inflatable raft air pump from an old vacuum cleaner to using double runner ice skates to turn a sail boat into an ice yacht during the winter on frozen Cassadaga Lake. This was the perfect lead into getting a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (and on a side note – where Zoe’ and I met).
I have been able to use this inventor’s mindset to develop creative solutions to complex problems in every role I take on. And I have been awarded with 14 US patents.
I like to think of myself as a mentor – a Sherpa if you will. Someone who will help guide you through whatever challenges you and your company may be having.
